Doing Work That Matters

An inclusive workforce is a better workforce, and neurodivergent and I/DD team members have a different way of seeing the world that helps us find solutions to problems in places we might not otherwise be looking. Neurodivergent team members have an outstanding memory and passion for detail, and are often capable of doing repetitive tasks with unceasing enthusiasm. We incorporate individuals with disabilities into our workforce because it benefits us all.
We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive workplace, and are constantly working to ensure that jobs at Cognitive Surplus are accessible to a wide array of individuals.
Through Oregon's Youth Transition Program, we've found some of the most reliable, hardest working employees, whom we are honored to have on our team.
In 2018, we were proud to receive an Employment Partner Award from the Oregon State Rehabilitation Council for creating a workplace where several adults with disabilities can thrive.
We were also recently featured in an article by Vocational Rehabilitation, and some photos from the interview are on their page.
